How to Use an Invisible Character

Which Invisible Character Works Best?
The generator defaults to Hangul Filler U+3164 for most name fields. It occupies a full character cell of width while rendering blank, and because it is a real letter-like code point rather than whitespace, it often survives the validation checks that strip ordinary spaces and empty strings.
Zero Width Space U+200B is the other common choice. It is smaller and less visually intrusive, but that same subtlety makes it more likely to be stripped by sanitizers or collapsed by text handling, so it works better for spacing tasks than for blank names.
If the first character is rejected, try the other one: compatibility is decided by the destination platform, not by the character’s Unicode identity, and the only reliable test is pasting into the real field and saving.

Why will some apps not accept my invisible character?
The app may strip that code point, restrict the field to a safe character set, or expose a fallback glyph such as a dot or box. Apps do this to keep names readable, searchable, and easy to moderate. Try the alternative character from the generator — Hangul Filler and Zero Width Space are rejected in different places — and if both fail, the platform likely requires at least one visible character, where a single letter plus invisible fillers is the practical workaround.
Can I use more than one?
Yes. A run of characters is useful when a field trims isolated characters or when you need a wider blank area, since each code point adds a cell of width. Some platforms truncate names to a length limit, so count characters rather than assuming an arbitrarily long blank will survive the save.
